Many have lost sisters, mothers, daughters, and friends to violence. These women discover hope through workshops and vocational training.

A touching message from our cooperative in Mexico City! Yesterday we received a very touching message from a Dallas woman who has found a sewing cooperative in Mexico City for us.
These women will make the very last baby booties for the exhibit. It is an organization that teaches very low income women crafts to help them make more money to support their families. I presented to them your organization and showed them your website. They were in tears and were eager to participate. They all live in the poorest neighborhoods of Mexico City and have experienced first hand the violence and pain caused by the kidnapping and permanent disappearance of girls and women.

Her four children are all in school: Leyner 18 who is in his second year at UNAN in Banking and Finance, sixteen year old Eyner who is in fifth grade, thirteen year old Jeyling in the 9th grade and Lady, who is twelve years of age and in the 8th grade.
