The Egyptian authorities say they are investigating a crime against public morality after a Danish photographer posted a picture of himself appearing to have sex on top of the Great Pyramid of Cheops. The website suggests that Mr Hvid specialises in taking photographs of naked women and couples in compromising positions, often on top of buildings. The pyramid images were shared widely on social media, garnering positive as well as critical comments, with many Egyptians and some Danes saying they were disrespectful.
